Nordic-Baltic Network

The Nordic-Baltic Network aims to promote the relevance of cancer-related topics in these countries. Specifically, the current objectives are:

  • Cooperation between centres to share best practices, resources and knowledge
  • The network’s activities must support countries in achieving the goals set in the European Action Plan against Cancer
  • The network supports the emergence of new comprehensive cancer centres
  • The network collaborates to increase the participation of the Nordic-Baltic countries in various European projects

The first meeting of the network took place in June 2024 at the Estonian Embassy in Helsinki, the second meeting in December 2025 in Riga and the third is planned in June 2025 in Copenhagen. The aim of this meeting would be to set precise objectives and how to formalised this network.
